As soon as I met Olivia my heart melted-I mean whose wouldn’t! This precious little girl has been in this world for only one month and is already stealing the hearts of all who come into her presence! Andy and Dena are just beginning this wonderful journey as parents and I can only share from experience that it is the most rewarding and fulfilling journey they will ever take. Grandma was visiting from Illinois-this is her first grandchild so the love and excitement in the Jalbert home was abounding and I thank them for allowing me to share in a little of that. Now meet Olivia…

Brandy and Robert were married in a beautiful ceremony as their 1 1/2 year old daughter Skylar looked on. The most memorable moment of the day was their first dance. Brandy and Robert are a super fun couple so instead of the traditional first dance they hired a choreographer to create a first dance that fit their personality-part of the compilation consisted of a Michael Jackson tune and Baby Got Back along with several others and ended with a traditional slow song-just to give you a little idea! It was by far the best first dance I have ever seen! Here is a little of their special and very fun day…

Reception:  Dubsdread Tap Room
Cake:  Anna Cakes
A little of Brandy & Robert’s first dance…The guy in the black suit and pink tie was their choreographer (dancing along!)The end of their first dance together…and it was fabulous! And the traditional mother/son and father/daughter dances…

A Thankful Heart

November 25, 2010

On this Thanksgiving amongst the busyness of my life I wanted to take a few quiet moments to truly feel the gratefulness in my heart. I feel beyond blessed that I have a husband that loves me with every ounce of who he is and has encouraged me to pursue my dreams and passions and a son who is fabulous beyond words-my son is funny, sensitive, smart and loving (and yes, I will take credit for a lot of who he is and am very proud of the young dashing man he is becoming!)  And to say that I am appreciative of my parents is not enough-they have supported me in absolutely everything my entire life-the good and the bad, and they have always been there-believing in me even when I wasn’t quite sure. And my faith above all I am thankful for. Those are my basic core necessities in life-faith and family…and on this day I am thankful for all that brings to my life.

Ashley is four and Logan is not even two yet and that’s the fun of it all…getting to follow them around and immerse yourself in their world that consists mainly of laughing and playing (what a great world to be in!) So I hung out with the Robinson family for a little while and would like you to meet them…

Ashley wanted a few pictures in her Cinderella outfit so she did a quick outfit change and here she is. Adorable! That’s it…that’s all…

I met Andrea at her and Ed’s home so we could get some special bare belly shots. When I got there I found out that Andrea and Ed have four, not so small, kitty cats and they wanted to be part of the action too (as you’ll see). Andrea is beautiful, radiant and glowing-she is a mommy-to-be! These shots are very special and for Andrea to treasure and remember her special time with Harper…

Watching a couple turn into a family is amazing. Andrea is going to be a wonderful mommy and Ed is going to be one great dad! We had so much fun wandering around finding different locations to capture this soon to be family. It was so endearing to see Ed take care of Andrea and to be there to be a part of the experience. About a week after this family photo shoot Andrea and I did a bare belly photo shoot that I will share with you next. Their little precious Harper will be here soon but for now I would like to introduce the soon to be St. Onge family.

Ryan & Tara…Bonus!

November 4, 2010

How did I forget this shot in my last post?!?! Authentic to the core…

I have known Ryan and Tara for several years now and I love the fact that I have known them ever since they first started seeing each other (although they did not tell anyone but really I knew-love for another is not easily hid.) I recently introduced my PhotoBooth when I did a PhotoBooth photo shoot for their “Save the Date”. You can see those shots here. For their engagement shoot we decided to head over to Winter Park for a little casual time in the park and then dressed it up after the sun went down! Feel free to give them some love by leaving a comment below.
