Oh that red hair! Seriously-how could you not fall in love immediately! Asher was born to Mat and Michele Lowery and I found out after posting a sneak peek on Facebook that Asher is also the nephew of a former co-worker and friend of mine Stephen (who is a very proud Uncle and fellow red head!) Michele bought the fedora and we grabbed one of Dad’s ties-I think Dad should keep that tie and we’ll take some pictures when Asher is 18! But for now here is sweet, precious newborn Asher…

Lukas turned 1 and I felt very fortunate to have captured this moment! I have been documenting Lukas’s life since he was born and the Brokaw family is very precious to me. We headed out early in the morning to a quiet, peaceful place just down the street from their home and took advantage of that beautiful morning light. And of course Maverick joined in as well so here, again, is the family of four…the Brokaws…

You are about to meet a super duper adorable family-the Fitzpatricks! I traveled to Tampa for this photo shoot and getting to meet Eva was worth every mile! Birkenstocks, a maxi skirt and a butterfly made for a perfect photo shoot. We hung out in their neighborhood, walked around, stopped at a few neat locations and ended up at a park. Grandma and Grandpa even got in on the action and are the reason for Ava’s laughter in several of the shots! And here they are…the Fitzpatrick Family…

Laura and Joe’s precious Gabriella is being born today (a scheduled delivery) so I think it is the perfect day to feature Laura’s beautiful baby bump! We actually went to a park that is extremely close to my house yet I never knew it was there-it was very busy so we found a few quieter spots and settled in. Laura and Joe are super laid back (and I laughed a lot on this shoot-thanks Joe!) They are going to be amazing parents and I was thrilled to capture Joe giving his little girl a lot of lovin!

A Holiday Special

October 14, 2011

I am excited to finally announce my super duper annual holiday special! It includes an extra bonus this year-a box of 25 custom cards and I love my 2011 designs! I still have space available through November so book now to reserve your spot!!

Valencia College celebrated Matador Day 2011 today with a school spirit themed party!  On the Osceola campus students took part in activities such as making their own license plates, bull riding, rock climbing and tons more. Once they worked up an appetite they were then treated to some Sonny’s BBQ and sweet tea thirst quenchers! I walked around, snapped a few shots and grabbed some BBQ myself! Here is a little of the day…

I have been photographing Harper since she was in her Mommy’s tummy and could photograph this adorable little girl every day! And as any girl would have it we did four outfit changes. The second dress actually belonged to Harper’s Mom (Andrea), which makes those photographs even more special. We also did a few family shots and had a lot of fun with the UCF themed ones! The St. Onge’s got out their “tailgating” gear and we set up a mini version family tailgate and let Harper cheer, “Go Knights!”. The St. Onge family are super duper awesome so here is a little of that awesome sauce to share with you…

I just recently joined the i heart faces photography community. I am still learning everything it has to offer and exploring the website and community group. As part of the community, i heart faces, has a Fix-it Friday photography challenge. I took part in it for the first time yesterday. Basically they provide a photo from a photographer that has offered to share an image for experimentation. Photographers then have the opportunity to edit the image and share your edit on the forum. I had a great time editing the image and wanted to share my first attempt:

Grandma was celebrating her 85th birthday so what better reason to get together for some family pictures! I headed to Tampa to capture this wonderful family and couldn’t help but think how amazing it is that they could all be together to celebrate with Grandma. Oh and Clarissa has had her baby-a beautiful little girl that her and Ryan have named Emma! Say hello to Grandma and all her kids and grandkids…
