December 4, 2011I have to say it was really hard to choose the images for this blog post…there are so many I love-I had to keep telling myself that I could not put them ALL in a blog post! Nekesha and Shaune’s wedding is taking place next year and I am sure it is going to not just be magnificent…but magical! Their daughter Amaia is absolutely adorable and I think she had a pretty good time at our photo shoot-I especially liked her dance moves and singing that she shared with us! So I now introduce you to the beautifully engaged couple of Nekesha and Shaune and their daughter Amaia…
Sonia & Andrew…Bonus!
May 19, 2011Didn’t I tell you she was beautiful…
I am just going to go ahead and say it and get it out of the way, “Sonia is beautiful!” and I had such a great time on this photo shoot with Sonia and Andrew. They are a couple that are not only madly in love but they have that comfort with each other that is so natural it made photographing them that much more fun. They are getting married in a few months and I cannot wait to photograph their Leu Gardens wedding. For their engagement we headed out to Cocoa Beach and walked around to several locations-and stayed until the sunset. Oh, and if you haven’t met Sonia and Andrew yet…well…you probably should so here is a short introduction…
How fun to be able to go to Morocco, Canada, Mexico and the United Kingdom for your engagement photo shoot-especially when you live in Orlando, Florida and only have to drive 20 minutes to Disney’s Epcot! So that is exactly what we did for Jennifer and John’s engagement photo shoot. I met Jennifer and John several years ago when they were both students at UCF and can’t wait to shoot their wedding in October. They have spent a lot of time at Disney and are annual pass holders so it was a natural fit to go to Epcot and spend the day exploring the countries. We also walked Disney’s Boardwalk, which is another special place to them and a place that, after living in Orlando for six years, didn’t even know about! They are adorable, fun and like to kiss a lot…so there ya go!
I am sure all of their friends will appreciate the fact that the shark made an appearance…
Angela & Brian: Engaged | McKinney, Texas
January 29, 2011I am very excited to be making a trip in April to Texas to shoot the beautiful wedding of Angela and Brian so it worked out great that I was in Texas over the holidays and had the opportunity to do their engagment shoot. We actually started out at a park in Frisco that has some great Texas architecture (you know…bronze longhorns coming out of a wall!) We then headed over to downtown McKinney for the final shots. Angela and Brian have a fun love story that began with a “wink”…here is the continuation of that story…
Top 10 of the year ’10

November 1, 2010I have known Ryan and Tara for several years now and I love the fact that I have known them ever since they first started seeing each other (although they did not tell anyone but really I knew-love for another is not easily hid.) I recently introduced my PhotoBooth when I did a PhotoBooth photo shoot for their “Save the Date”. You can see those shots here. For their engagement shoot we decided to head over to Winter Park for a little casual time in the park and then dressed it up after the sun went down! Our Engagement Story
March 13, 2010Jonathan and I got engaged on March 13th, 2005. At the time we lived in different states. Jonathan was living in Florida and I was living in Texas. We knew very shortly after we met in November 2004 that we were meant to be together forever. We talked about marriage. We looked at rings (I wanted a band-something very simple and understated.) We knew we were going to elope (or have a ceremony in a park with cupcakes!) Jonathan came to visit during the second week in March. My parents drove down from Frisco to be with us for the weekend. That Sunday, AFTER my parents had left…Jonathan proposed (needless to say my Mom wasn’t thrilled that he waited until after they left, but he said he wanted it to be our moment and to be able to share it with Cody.) Jonathan left a few days later to go back to Florida and we didn’t see each other again until we landed in Vegas to get married (watch for that post on April 27th!) So…we didn’t have any engagement pictures taken, but I do have a few shots from the weekend we were engaged (a weekend I will never forget!)
BONUS SHOT…this is Jonathan back in FL taking a picture of what he is going to wear when we got married (with some type of mock tie!)
