On this Thanksgiving amongst the busyness of my life I wanted to take a few quiet moments to truly feel the gratefulness in my heart. I feel beyond blessed that I have a husband that loves me with every ounce of who he is and has encouraged me to pursue my dreams and passions and a son who is fabulous beyond words-my son is funny, sensitive, smart and loving (and yes, I will take credit for a lot of who he is and am very proud of the young dashing man he is becoming!) And to say that I am appreciative of my parents is not enough-they have supported me in absolutely everything my entire life-the good and the bad, and they have always been there-believing in me even when I wasn’t quite sure. And my faith above all I am thankful for. Those are my basic core necessities in life-faith and family…and on this day I am thankful for all that brings to my life.

Fashion Friday
September 17, 2010Fall is here-time for autumn colored leaves, pumpkins, acorns, football, cooler weather (well for most of you-still experiencing summer temps here in Florida) and it is time for fall fashion. So for those of you getting ready for photo shoots and pondering the all elusive question, “what should I wear?”…here is some inspiration straight from the laundry-mat! My tips: be comfortable, coordinate but don’t match and wear fun accessories such as necklaces, ties, jackets, belts and shoes that can be swapped out for different looks. Most of all your photos should express who you are so have fun with it and let your personality shine.

The Saturday Review
May 29, 2010A Little Friday: Fashion
October 30, 2009Everyone always wants to know what to wear for their photo shoot. I think the most important element in what to wear is to wear what you are comfortable in and feel good in. I suggest color even if you want to go neutral or white make sure you have a pop of color somewhere-either a scarf, shoes, hat or something else fun. For family photo shoots I suggest coordinating but not matching. Below are a few samples of coordinating family outfits that make for a great fall photo op! All of these fashions are currently available at Old Navy or hopefully will spark some fun creativity. When you have your outfits all picked out give me a call for a fun family photo shoot or portrait session.
