Jenn and John are one of those natural couples that just fit so it made photographing their wedding that much more fun! We had a great time at their engagement photo shoot walking the countries in Epcot and the Disney Boardwalk and they returned to Disney’s Boardwalk for their outdoor ceremony at the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Resort. Jennifer was a beautiful bride and to make her day even more meaningful her mother hand made her wedding dress-every stitch of it-and it fit everything about Jennifer perfectly! The reception was held in downtown Orlando at The History Center and as you will see there was a lot of dancing. Sonia and Drew are genuine, laid back and loving and I wish them a lifetime of happiness, joy and laughter (and with Drew in the mix that will be a given!) Enjoy their reception…

Sonia and Andrew’s love is evident in every ounce of who they are and how they are around each other. Just to be in their presence will make you want to go hug your honey! So needless to say their wedding was a very special day. The wedding ceremony was held at Harry P. Leu Gardens on a very hot day in Central Florida. Sonia’s parents were not able to attend as they live in the United Kingdom so Sonia’s brother walked her down the aisle with her parents on the phone, who officially gave Sonia away-this was a special part of the ceremony. After the ceremony we headed downtown for the reception at The History Center but grabbed a few shots before heading in for the party! Coming soon…Part 2…the reception!

Angela & Brian: Married | Destination Wedding Photographer

I made a special trip back to Lake Jackson, Texas especially for the wedding of Angela & Brian. I have known Angela for several years and when she asked me to shoot her wedding in Texas it meant a lot to me. I also had the opportunity to take their engagement pictures while I was visiting my family over the Christmas holidays. Angela and Brian were married at St. Michael’s Catholic Church and held their reception at the Lake Jackson Civic Center. The bonus of shooting a small town Texas wedding-well…even though I haven’t lived there for over 5 years I knew the wedding coordinators, Terri Bernhardt and her daughter Amy of Storybook Weddings so it made for a great day and the best wedding cake I have ever had (I tried to take a piece home to my sister but it didn’t quite make it!) Here is Angela & Brian’s story…

Tara & Ryan: Married Pt. 2 | Central Florida Wedding Photographer

This is the story of Tara and Ryan’s beautiful wedding continued with their wedding reception that was held at the Timacuan Country Club in Lake Mary. If you missed Part 1 you can see that here. The cake was provided by Party Flavors and was created to compliment Tara’s dress-beautiful! The candy bar was a huge hit and I love how they personalized the candy bar with all of the bridal party “favorites”. Touches of Tara and Ryan were on every aspect of the reception which made it that much more special for all of the family and friends in attendance. And DJ Lou provided the tunes for the bride and groom’s first dance and the dancing continued right up until Tara and Ryan left to the crackling of tons of sparklers. Wishing them a lifetime of love, laughs and happiness…

Their first dance…A yummy candy bar…Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dances…This is one of my favorites…I adore how he is looking at her…

I have been anxiously awaiting to post this gorgeous wedding of Tara and Ryan and had a truly difficult time narrowing down my favorite shots…so this will be a two-part blog post beginning with the pre-ceremony, ceremony and after ceremony followed by Part 2-the reception.

It’s hard for me to put into words what it meant to me to photograph this most wonderful day for them. I have known Tara and Ryan for years now and was elated when they asked me to be their photographer. We actually started off with the Photobooth “Save the Date” photo shoot and then shortly afterwards shot their engagement in Winter Park. And then on Saturday, January 29th they became Mr. & Mrs. Gasparovic or kindly known as “The Gaspos”. Their day was nothing less than perfect-the kind of fairy tale perfection every bride dreams of. So here is a little of that perfection to enjoy…

Camielle & Daniel: Married | Orlando Wedding Photographer

The wedding of Camielle and Daniel was a beautiful mix of two different cultures and traditions. Uniqueness is what stands out to me most at weddings and this was a very special part of their wedding day. Camielle was married in her traditional wedding gown and then 1/2 way through the reception she changed into a traditional asian gown and that is what she left in. I shot this wedding with Mandy Austin and Andy Storey of Love Storey Photography and had a fantastic time. It was a perfect Orlando day, an amazing couple, super fun bridesmaids and groomsmen…and a ring shot that is…well, YOWZA!

This was a special wedding for us. Jeremy is my husband’s brother. He asked me to photograph their wedding before he even proposed so I kinda knew what his plans were! We flew to San Diego, California to be a part of Jeremy and Laura’s special day. The weather was absolutely perfect and the venue was amazing-a little white old farmhouse church with wooden pews sitting on several acres of land surrounded by trees and tractors. We had family that flew in from Washington, North Carolina, Minnesota, Arizona and of course Florida. I felt honored to capture their day and thought I would start off by sharing the first part of their day with you. Next up…the reception and a few shots just for the fam!
