Top 10 of the year ’10

December 31, 2010

It was harder than I thought…picking a top 10…so I picked 13. It’s my very favorite number anyways. A huge thank you to all of my 2010 clients and friends for making this such a fabulous year. I am looking forward to an amazing 2011!

My top “13″ images of the year ’10 are those in which you can sense the emotion and feeling by only using the sense of sight. I felt that in these…

Brandy and Robert were married in a beautiful ceremony as their 1 1/2 year old daughter Skylar looked on. The most memorable moment of the day was their first dance. Brandy and Robert are a super fun couple so instead of the traditional first dance they hired a choreographer to create a first dance that fit their personality-part of the compilation consisted of a Michael Jackson tune and Baby Got Back along with several others and ended with a traditional slow song-just to give you a little idea! It was by far the best first dance I have ever seen! Here is a little of their special and very fun day…

Reception:  Dubsdread Tap Room
Cake:  Anna Cakes
A little of Brandy & Robert’s first dance…The guy in the black suit and pink tie was their choreographer (dancing along!)The end of their first dance together…and it was fabulous! And the traditional mother/son and father/daughter dances…

Karen and Chuck were married in a small, intimate ceremony amongst family and friends-amazing and loving family and friends and I was privileged to photograph their beautiful exchange of love and commitment. BJ, Karen’s sister, was reminded of a quote and I believe it fits this union of two perfectly-”It’s never too late to live happily ever after.” Here’s wishing Karen and Chuck all the love in the world…

I shared a little sneak peek of Natalie and Cliff’s wedding a few weeks back and thought it was time that I shared the rest of the story.

Last month I shot the wedding of Natalie and Cliff. Here is a quick sneak peek…I can’t wait to share the rest!

On this day five years ago Jonathan and I made a little trip to Las Vegas, got in a helicopter, flew over the strip and got married.

Linda and Angel were married on March 13th and I was able to share a little sneak peek and have been excited to post the rest of their story. I have known Linda for a little over a year now and have worked with her on several occasions. It was wonderful to be able to share this day with her, meet her most amazing friends and her beautiful family. This day was even more special to Linda because shortly after Linda and Angel said their vows and were married, Linda’s Mother and Father renewed their wedding vows. The ceremony was held at the Kraft Azalea Garden in Winter Park. It was a beautiful, breezy and little bit of a chilly day.As soon as I arrived I was struck by the peacefulness and tranquility-there were a few couples walking around and an artist sketching on his easel and I thought to myself, “What could be more perfect.” Here is the rest of their story…

This is definitely the largest “sneak peek” I have ever done…but, I just can’t help myself.

The rest of the story to follow soon…

I had a great time shooting this wedding with my friend Linda Claveria. I will actually be shooting her wedding next month so it was great to get to see her and work with her one more time before her big day, but this day was Chantel and Jorge’s special day and what a beautiful one it was. Chantel was an amazingly gorgeous bride and I fell in love with the hotel lobby where she got ready-the lighting, the colors, the space, the furniture-oh, heaven. Enjoy my view of their day (and that ‘oh so fabulous lobby)…

Some details…and a bridesmaid gets readyFor the bride…and here she isNow the rest of the story

Thought I would share a beautiful bride with you on this most wonderful Monday…
