The colors, the tradition and the food made for a very memorable evening. The wedding took place at the Orlando Marriott Airport and began with a reception in the lobby for the guests, shortly afterwards the groom arrived and then the bride made her quiet yet grand entrance. The traditional indian dress of the female guests was stunning. Afsheen’s dress was amazing-it was actually shipped to her from Pakistan and she said it weighed approximately 50 pounds, which she wore on her tiny and petite body very gracefully. And can we talk about the food…I found two new favorites-paratha (a delicious indian type flatbread) and chicken tikka. For this wedding I second-shot alongside Linda Claveria of Linda Rose Photography and I would like to thank her for such a great experience and opportunity. Afsheen and Masroor will be leaving Orlando and I wish them well on their journey of life.

At the wedding reception celebrating the marriage of Mr. & Mrs. Paul Sharpe, Paul took the microphone and told everyone how he had prayed for I’eysha to come into his life because he was ready to make a commitment to someone special; I’eysha in turn took the microphone and thanked Paul for praying for her because she had not prayed for him…laughter filled the room as she went on to explain that she was forever grateful for Paul’s faith and prayers for her. This statement of faith was especially moving and it is the one moment that stands out to me. I had a fabulous time second-shooting this extraordinary wedding with Linda Claveria of Linda Rose Photography. And oh, I have to mention that the wit and humor of both the best men (yes, there were two of them!) and maid of honor’s toasts had the entire wall-to-wall, packed to the brim ballroom laughing hysterically-what a great night! I wish I’eysha and Paul a life filled with love, laughter and faith.

Melissa and Robert have that kind of love that you feel when you walk into a room and it was pure joy to be a part of that. They had a simple, sweet and charming wedding surrounded by family and friends. The venue was rustic with old wood floors and vintage chandeliers, which added to the charm of this quaint wedding. My favorite part-All of the groomsmen wore converse tennis shoes including the bride and grooms son, which showed off the bride and grooms offbeat sides!  I wanted to share some of the special details of their wedding and the beauty of the bride with you, along with the awesome dancing I promised.

Melissa & Robert were married yesterday, October 30th and I wanted to share this sneak peak of their wedding that I was fortunate to second shoot alongside Linda Claveria of Linda Rose Photography. It was uplifting to be amongst a loving couple and their family and was a beautiful reminder of how much love I have in my life and how blessed I am to have found my wonderful husband. I guess weddings kinda do that to you! This wedding was also a ton of fun! The 80′s music got everyone up on the dance floor and boogieing (is that a word?) like I haven’t seen in a while…watch for some fun dance shots coming soon.

Patricia and Kevin became Mr. & Mrs. Lee on Saturday and it was a joy to be able to capture this special day for them. Patricia and Kevin celebrated their love along with their six children. Family came from New Jersey, Massachusetts and Puerto Rico. Patricia’s mom flew in from Puerto Rico and surprised her daughter. It was truly special to watch mother and daughter share this moment. After some good Puerto Rican food the dancing began with the kids leading the way. I want to wish Patricia, Kevin and their family a beautiful marriage-they are a special family and I thank them for making me a part of their day.
