How do I book a session?
To begin the process of booking a session it’s pretty simple. Just fill out my contact form using the link at the top of my website or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll get that conversation started! More information about booking a session is also found in the What To Expect section.
How do I schedule my newborn photo session when I don’t know when she/he will be born?
Just tell me your estimated due date and I’ll put that date on my calendar. When your baby arrives contact me as soon as you can and we will set a specific date from there. Newborn sessions are best held within the first 14 days after birth-this is when newborns are the most cooperative for those sweet newborn photos. It’s important to remember to book your newborn session while you are still pregnant so we can get your due date on the calendar.
When should I do my maternity session?
Maternity photos are best done in the third trimester-ideally between 32-34 weeks.
How much does it cost?
See the Investment section for all of your package options.
How long until our gallery is ready?
My average turn-around time for a gallery to be ready for viewing is right around 2 weeks.
Where will our session be held?
I am a lifestyle on location photographer so your session with either be held on location outdoors or you in your home with an in-home session.
On location outdoor sessions are done at a variety of different places depending on the look of the photos you would like. Parks and wooded areas with lots of space to move and run around are popular as are urban downtown areas with unique architecture and design.
In-home sessions take place in the comfort of a familiar location-your own home. These sessions are even more special if they are conducted around a special family activity-something the family does together on a regular basis to capture those memories-such as baking cookies, reading a book, playing a game or bath time.
More information about location is also found in the What to Expect section.
What should we wear for our session?
This is probably the #1 most asked question I get from clients so I want to make it as easy and stress free as possible. After you book your session I will send out a Planning Guide full of information-including tips on what to wear! I also have a Pinterest board I have created specifically for clients to refer to and get inspiration from and also have some information in my What To Expect section.
What if it rains?
If we are scheduled for an outdoor session don’t worry if it rains-we will re-schedule.
